As a result of the inclusion of the interface known as Metro in Microsoft's operating system, many programs and applications in general decided to translate the same style to unify everything in a visual set. Metro textual exemplifies this with an excellent design that lives up to its function as a text editor.
Minimalism does not imply the absence of useful functions when editing texts. In fact, it can even be used to program in a multitude of languages thanks to the fact that the software itself highlights the fragments of the syntax by means of tonalities.
Metro textual has evolved with respect to the traditional Notepad especially in terms of compatibility, supporting many standards and programming languages. On the other hand, its interface does not generate doubts or complications when making use of the text editor.
